After lurking a bit around here and listening to the occasional BassCast (great job!) I thought it was time to say hello. 
I'm a 30 year old (amateur) bass player from southern Germany and have been enjoying the bass for 10+ years now. I'm not playing in a regular band right now but have been in a couple of (mostly original stuff from free form psychedelia to pop rock).
