Hello from Intro

Hello everyone. Figured I'd stop lurking and actually join :bassist:
I'm 29 and started playing bass at 19 (guitar came first, at 12).

Id like to think I've come a long way since I first tried to play as a gigging bassist with no bass experience (I had the basic idea how to play bc of guitar, I just didn't know how to stop noodling and just groove!).

Don't have a band currently, but I do weekly bass/guitar jams with my best bud, until we finally find a suitable drummer.

Anyway, hope everyone is safe and doing well.

Thank you all for the warm welcome! This is the only pic I have at the moment (my rig stays at my bud's house). My P Bass, 3 Pro, 810 CL, Swollen Pickle, and Dunlop Bass Wah.

I ended up trying a revolving door of basses to end up with my P. I tried a Jazz, Ibanez 5'er, a Peavey Millenium, and an LTD. The P just works so well.

It's definitely become my workhorse. I never thought I'd be able to get so many tones out of just one passive pickup. For our more relaxed songs I can just turn down the tone knob and go with a light touch. If I want to get heinous grind, just turn the tone knob back up to 10 and dig in hard on my right hand attack. It's been a game changer for me!
