Hello from Michigan

Hello, I'm from Southwest Michigan. New to bass but I've been playing guitar about 5 years. Got a Yamaha RBX170 and an Acoustic B100. It's my first bass rig but I don't think it'll be my last

Hey, welcome! Lots of info here and lots to stoke your GAS, which I'm guessing you already are familiar with if you've been playing guitar.

Yes welcome. Your 6 string experience will flow right into your bass. We old 6 string guys do have a tendency to fill our bass lines with too much "stuff". Other than that it's a quick learning curve.
