I’m a guitarist/vocalist/songwriter from central NJ. I’ve led my own quartet (guitar, tenor sax, drums, upright bass) since 1998, and play mostly up-tempo blues and old-school R&B, with a little funk thrown in for good measure.
I’ve played bass mostly on my own demos, but have recently taken an interest in doing some subbing on bass with friends’ bands. I’ve got a parts P bass and a parts J bass, and figured I’d hang around here a bit to get some tips on smallish combos that might be suitable for that kind of gig.
