Bass gear gadgets owned: 1939ish Selmer badged Kay d bass. Early 80s Carvin 4 string. Fuzzy covered Carvin PB300 amp. Ampeg VSP pro preamp. Carvin BX1 preamp. I have a ss squier jag that I will be getting rid of. Bleh. Not my thing.
I am of the opinion that anyone seeking to musically express themselves should not limit themselves should be open to learning any technique, so I can play with fingertips, thump-pop-pluck and pick. Upright slap is probably not in my future.
