Hey all, I'm gene marshall from the jersey shore. No, I don't like the show, those people are idiots.
I've played bass since I was 11 and piano since I was 7.
I like the forum a lot and am glad to be a part of it.
I'm 47, raised 4 kids, and am happy to be getting my life back.
My basses are a stagg EUB , a ibanez EWB 5string and a Gibson rd artist black, active/passive... Like the entwistle model.
My pianos include a takai baby grand, Roland 300 stage piano and a Suzuki ensemble.
Add to that a couple geetawrs, a sax , a flute, numerous amps and pa stuff.
So I guess I'm a bit of a collector.
I took lessons as a kid from Jack Sixx, he is a local good guy to me. But you might know him from the Dave Brubeck quartet.
I attended the local schools like OCC, and Ramapo. The teachers were excellent.
So anyway, I am honored to be a part of this most excellent forum, I have been a lurker for a while.
I appreciate the wealth of information compiled here. This site is a gem.
