Howdy to all! I’ve been lurking on this site for quite a while and finally got around to signing up!
I’m a retired Missouri state trooper (31 years working, retired for 8) who travels with his wife singing gospel music. We do around 80-90 dates a year in a good year, though the Covid situation has slowed us down a lot. We do original material and covers, using tracks, sometimes standalone, sometimes augmented by guitar or djembe. My wife also plays piano and we often do piano and bass. I consider myself a mediocre guitarist and even more mediocre bassist, but I love both. I recently bought a Stingray Special after years of playing a Yamaha bass with EMG active pickups. I look forward to spending time here. I know I can learn a lot.
