Thanks to @Lobster11, I'm a newly christened Supporting Member!

I'm just a smalltown boy, born and raised in mid-Western Virginia.

After touring the world, including two deployments to Desert Storm, I settled down in Thailand for a good long time.

I returned home 5 years ago, and started collecting gear.

Trying to fight the GAS to buy another bass amp head tonight, which will only get worse the more beers I have.

Yeah, I got back from a 9 month tour, drove across the country to my new duty station (Los Angeles), and started another 9 month tour.
I got to see a lot of the world in the meantime, and decided Thailand needed further investigation.
I learned the language, and was fluent at one point, reading, writing, and speaking.
I'm a bit rusty now, but my passive grammar is still intact.
