Hello, making my first post

I found the forum looking for parts for my old Washburn B-5 Bass. Found a thread picturing one just like it, was about to comment when I saw it was 11 years old. Seems about right. I got mine when I was only sixteen. I am pushing fifty now.
Regrettably never played for more than hobby. Joined National Guard and that took most of my time. Then it was Active Army. When I got home,

got married and had kids. Now I am trying to get the children more involved in music. So I am leading by example.

P.S. give some thoughts to a 3 string cigar box bass. Great for a starter bass.

Our Daughter gives one or two of them to her second-grade students each year. Sometime this is the first thing they have been able to do well, and a life is changed.

Hey, thanks. I got to pick the bass out when I was 15. My Dad gave me a price limit and was leaning on me a little to get a more traditional looking guitar. I saw this one, and it just stood out from everything else.

My oldest boy plays my bass sometimes. He had his head to get a Les Paul. So we got him a Epiphone. Hope I can keep him interested in it.
