Nice finally say hello.
I have been grinding since I was in High School. My former spouse swapped out almost all my gear to support her habit, while we were separated and before I found out she had adapted a new "hobby"?
It has bothered me so much to lose my rigs and basses that I have just kept away. Last week, after being told again that I am living in the past, I concluded that perhaps it was true.
I decided to determine which part of my past is worth living. I loathed my long now gone 82 Hamer Blitz (snif, snif) and the way it set sail. Though I can not afford a sick looking mohagany through the body, I did remember an axe I really liked, way back when I was buying my second one bass and primarily concerned on playability. The choices where an 82 metal flake blue Hamer Blitz, Peavey T-45 and the Peavey Fury. I couldn't afford the blitz, so I bought the long gone T45 cause my guitarist felt it had more useful selection of sounds.
Several years later, on a whim, I popped into the shop that had the Hamer and there it was, sad waiting for me used (broken in is more like it) and for less than 1/2 price. I bought it IMEDIATELY.
Today is another day and I am faced with a couple new questions but I thought I would take a moment to say Hello 1st .)
