I'm a 31 year old, who's played bass for 15 years, and gigged with a funk, soul and pop functions band for the last 7, but has only recently got into bass and gear in a mildly obssesive way- the GAS no doubt fuelled by the excellent posts and reviews found on this website!

Unfortunately, toddler and moving house mean GAS is staying largely unfulfilled at the moment.

Although a guitarist did tell me this week that it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission...
