Hello

This is my first post--I came in here to find people in the know who I can ask questions and maybe answer some questions for. I own many basses and do most of my own repairs. I have been playing bass for 30+ years. I currently play in a Rock band. I happen to be gigging tonight.

I have always loved Fender basses. However I have recently discovered Ernie Ball Musicman basses. I feel they are better built etc than Fenders but I still buy Fender basses. My most recent Fender purchase was yesterday. I got a sweet 97 P bass--Sonic/daphne blue. A very rare color. I believe it's a real collector even though it's a 97.

Well that's a little about me--Thanks TGLbass

Welcome to TB !!

This is a great place with a wealth of information about the bass world.

As you have a lot of basses, you may want to fill out your profile as people like to see what kind of basses you have etc and also know your other interests are.

All the best!

At TB, there is an extremely wide range of musicians. We have beginners, intermediate... even bass royalty. Some of the pros that we know and love actually hang around this online home.

If you haven't done so already, you may want to read through the stickies in each forum (i.e. I do not recommend your second post to ask "What's the best bass for metal.") lol

It is recommended use the search function in the forum to see if a question/issue has already been raised before beginning a new topic.

Okay I need to figure out how to post pics.

I have Fender (Jag ,P, J, Roadworn, Classic)MM, Garside, Dean, had a Warwick, Ibanez, Danelectro, had a Tobias, Epi Explorer, Cowboy Maloney, etc.

As soon as I can I'll post some pics.:bassist:
