Hello

Hey, my name is Brian. I've been playing bass for nearly 20 years. I've played in bands the whole time, rock, alternative, cover, funk, jazz. I'm one of those guys who needs to play and has never taken a break.

My favorite bassists has changed so often that its best to say I love them all. Currently listening to tons of jazz and love Ron Carter, Paul Chambers, and Jimmy Garrison.

I'm here to learn more about double bass. I've had a Kay MIB for about 11 years and play it in phases. I call it a MIB because thats what is stamped inside. I once had a luthier tell me all about it but that was years ago and I never wrote it down. Its not gig worthy but does play decent. I've never taken it out save for a few jam sessions.

Look forward to meeting you all.
