Hi everyone, new guy signing on. I just bought my first-ever bass about a week ago; a 1989 MIK Squier P bass; not exactly Rick-like in status, but it works for me. I've played guitar on and off for more than 20 years (REALLY rusty right now) and I just decided to give the bass a try; no gigging, recording or anything, just to fart around with at home. The amp is a Yorkville Bassmaster 100 with a "wounded" speaker that farts pretty bad at high volume/bass setting... but hey, it was free with purchase of the aforementioned Squier. Most importantly, I apologize in advance for all the REALLY stupid questions I am bound to ask.
