Helloooo Detroit!

Well being that both the Flyers and the Pistons screwed the pooch, where do you guys want me to send the confetti for the victory parades you guys planned BEFORE the games were played? :p :spit: :D

FIRST, The Flyers don't play in Detroit accept when they get beat at the Joe:rolleyes:

SECOND, NY or ATLANTA wouldn't have ANY use for confetti, so I'm open to suggestions. You know that Atlanta football team didn't even make the playoffs with the vaunted Ron Mexico leading them. And Stienbriener hasn't bought any world series victories lately has he? Then theirs the Knicks, anyone who lives in a town with the Knicks has no reason to gloat during NBA playoff time.:p :spit: :D

My mistake, I meant the Wings. Secondly, noone in the ATL posted that the victory parade was a done deal, unlike you Detroit guys.
BTW, as long as the Kittens are in Detroit, don't bring up football. You know better! How many top 10 picks have you guys squandered, only to hold on your usual spot in the cellar. Gotta commend the consistancy, though. :p

Brad: I am super happy for Wade. I hope they win it all.

I have no complaints about Wade, He's the real deal. And Joe D gets NO LOVE for picking Darco over Mr. Wade. As far as the Heat the only one I have no respect for is that coattail hitching, I don't have to play hard if I don't feel like it, Alonzo Mourning. I'm sorry he is among the top examples of a selfish me first athlete.

here i was hoping the woodchuck would be coming back up here for some reason and wanted to hang out or something...

i don't think we "had victory parades planned before the games were played." i don't think it's unreasonable to expect the teams with the best regular season records to extend that into the playoffs. i don't think it's wrong to be surprised at the relative underplaying of past postseason performers (in the case of the pistons) or of regular season stars (in the case of the wings).

the spurs also lost after a great regular season, as did the top four seeds from the western conference in the NHL. maybe i missed something.
