Help!!!(-bassbigmuff)

Hey guys I'm looking for some much needed advice on how to fix my bass big muff or even if its possible.
So I stored the pedal in my gig bag with chords ,plyers ,extra strings ,and etc. The pedal must of taken a really hard smack because the switch for
-bass boost
-norm
-dry

Was buckeled and stopped working altogether over the course of a year. I opened it up and tried to fix the switch but there was no response from either channels.

So I took the switch apart and I'm hoping I can replace it.

If there's anyone out there that has knowledge on the subject I would love some input.

Take the switch to an electronics store and get a replacement. Should be just a standard 3-way toggle. Easy enough fix.

Awesome ,I was also thinking about hitting up some pawn shops and buying old pedals to fix up and if I can find enough information maybe even modifying them

Check out Build Your Own Clone and General Guitar Gadgets. Both sell kits to build, which is also a good start. IIRC, BYOC has better instructions than GGG but they're also more expensive.

Learn to solder and get a decent iron (not one of those crappy ratshack $10 ones. I wasted many years thinking I was rubbish at it because I had one of those).

Start with building simple pedals first. Fixing stuff is harder than you think, especially if it's not just a broken pot/switch/ripped off cable.
There's a lot of useful ressources around, just start searching and you'll find more and more of them. DIYstompboxes is definately one of the best ones to begin with, lots of helpful people.
