Double Bass Help! Can i use these electronic parts instead?

hi everyone,
someone suggested building an fdeck preamp for my EUB build, and i was wondering if using these parts would work instead.
You see, p&p is £12 from mouser (where fdeck got all his parts) so if i'm gonna make this i need to buy the parts from somewhere else.
So my question is, could i build it using these parts instead?
If not, can anyone suggest a cheap preamp for my piezo pickup? I'd rather build it myself, but i don't mind buying one instead

I cannot scoll to the other components (it's just a screen picture).
You don't need the piezo disks, you should already have a piezo pickup.

The most critical parts are the transistors. You need exactly these types.
You also need a stereo jack for the output (for power switching).

The parts I can see are OK, but there must be some more.

Ok, I'll have to post links to the EXACT parts later. Could I use the piezo transducers instead of a piezo pickup? By 'i already have the piezo' I meant I'd already ordered the ones on the list. I just put them there to show which ones they were.
What transistors should I get? There's loads of different values. Could someone knowledgeable in electronics please post the links to the right ones? I'm still a beginner really.

I theory, yes. If you don't have experience making pickups yourself you might get disappointed. Even mounting a bridge wing pickup (cheapest, starts about £80, I think) is not easy. You will get a sound out of all, but to get a good sound (or as good as possible) can get tricky.

I think you have the HPF-Pre technical manual, if not, get it. There you can find the types.
If you are not familiar with soldering identifying pinout of electronic components (at least for transistors you also need to know if the view is from top or from bottom), don't build it yourself.

Sorry, Josiah, but I feel you want too much with too less knowledge. I might be wrong, but I think it would be worth thinking about it. Don't get me wrong, I tried building a lot of simple versions of musical instruments when I was at school, but only did the setup for my old ply double bass and even this was not good (but the bass wasn't either).
If you would have posted your plans about building an EUB in the Setup & Repair forum, I would probably not be the only one thinking that way.

I have experience with soldering, and I know a lot of people who can guide me along the right track. I really think I can do this, so I might give it a go, and if it doesn't work? I'll just buy a preamp.
I guess we'll just have to see how my build turns out
