Help connecting a midi, about send to/receive from selection...

Connecting a carbon 49 midi, and it gives two options for each:

Receive from:
AudioBox
Carbon 49

Send to:
Audiobox
Carbon 49

wondering what to pick, if one gives better latency than the other or something...

I have no experience with that specific Samson MIDI Controller, but you should try both. With MIDI there should be no latency on the Studio One 3 DAW. The problem is often setting up the controller to use all the button functions.

Nevertheless, one of those should work.

Receive from Carbon 49 into your DAW or standalone app
There's not much to send to the carbon, it doesn't have any built in sounds
