Hi All,

Just picked up a BH-250 and for the first time sampling the toneprints on the website to see what I want. Thought I'd first go for a basic no frills compression, which I gather they call Spectracomp. So I click on Spectracomp from the category list, expecting it to take me to the actual sound clip of it, so I can hear it, but the next page shows that title at the top, but a whole slew of other print clips below it, but the Spectracomp is nowhere (should be at the top, correct?).

Anyone navigate their site, know where I can first listen to the one I actually have clicked on?

oops. I use the Bh 250 as well. The website for the toneprints doesnt really let you preview the sound of the effect before you download it to your amp, so you pretty much have to try them out to see what you like. SpectraComp is a great compressor and i use it all the time, but the fun really starts with some of the cool custom effects they have. I downloaded all the toneprints to a zip file so i can open it and install any one in just a second. Beaming the toneprints through their app is even easier and just takes a few seconds. Have fun with it, I've had mine for about 6 months and still have fun trying out new sounds without dropping cash on pedals.

Yup thanks guys, but know what? I took it back. Not so much for the website/sounds quirkiness, but just because I need a head with more cojones. Working on a married w/kids budget, I was hoping to sort of modernize in a certain dollar amount but the 250 just didn't cut it for my needs. So going to stick with my GK700RB, which I like very much once again. What was I thinking? (Well...I was thinking mainly weight, and modern cool factor...)

Wow. Did you not try the "Cojones" TonePrint first? :)

Only half-kidding. Some of those TonePrints can seriously beef up the tone that this little head puts out. TubeDrive is really nice, but some of the more aggressive ones are downright scary, and can make this head sound huge.
