Help ID this P copy

I have this P bass copy that I cannot properly ID. The bass is a short-scale and is almost completely hollow. I have removed the neck, and there is no stamp and nothing written in the pocket or on the neck. The only identification on the bass is a "Van Hall" badge on the headstock. Any info would be welcome. Pics are below.

The pickup ring is similar to the ampeg big stud but with a fender style headstock instead of the 2+2. I wonder if many other Japanese/import manufacturers in the 70s used this same layout. For that matter, who was the builder of the big studs? Could be related or a copy of that style.

Edit - definitely very similar to that aria. Good catch.
