Help identify bass

I have this bass from my uncle who said he bought it somewhere in the 80's in the Eastern Europe (Poland or Czech). I believe it was made out of several different guitars and heavily modified. The neck says "Epiphone" (not even sure what model it is), "Made in Japan", while the body is totally unknown. I disassembled the neck trying to find serial number, date, whatever - empty. The only information I have found was that the neck pickup is 481 Shadow Bass Dopester. Bridge pickups are blank. What do you think it is?

Just did some search myself - could the neck be from Epiphone ET 280?
