Help identify these flatwounds

Hi all,

I just bought a used Lakland 44-94 and they came with flatwounds. The owner was unsure of the brand. Can anyone help identify these? No silks on ball end and silk is reddish orange color. They are super smooth and aren't too stiff for flats. See pics below. Thanks.

They look like La Bella DTB to me, the .104 set.

I'll second this. La Bella 760FL.

Thanks! That's what I was thinking. I tried a LaBella set quite a while ago and was impressed by how glassy smooth they were. These are similar.

I don't think I will keep them on the bass though. A little too thuddy for my ears.

Don't throw them away. When you take them off, advertise them. Many on the forum want a set of these strings settled in as these are.

My first thought was "Optima 4099RL "Chromes", because the silk in the pictures looks much too orange to be La Bellas. But, pictures can be deceiving, for one. For another, the Optima Chromes on my Tokai TB48 have orange silk on both ends. So, those ain't them... So, by default? Yeah, La Bella DTFs...

The way they used to be, 760FL had red silk and 760FX came with orange-ish red. The FX now come with avocado green silk and the silk on the FL is more orange now than it used to be.
