Status Energy 4 string - Looks in good condition $600-$800 would be my guesstimate.

This was the entry level Status I think I paid about £750 ($1500) for my 5 string back in about 1995 - pictured below.

Gotta say - despite the fact that their most obvious endorser always plays 4 strings, I think that large traditional Status body looks best when balanced by a wider 5 or 6 string neck.

I've always wanted one though. Any minute now Chris is going to post another picture of his Stealth 6 string.

Actually, Mark King did use a Matrix 5 string as well as his array of Status 4 strings. It was on the Guaranteed album and the Guaranteed Live video!

Thats true, but if he wasn't mentioned on the Status page, I doubt most people would know who Rhino was!

On my adopted side of the pond, even with a mention on the Status page I sure most folks wouldn't know who Rhino is, let alone Status Quo, but I couldn't resist picking up on the 'endorser' thread!

Indeed, on "If You Were Mine". But if I am not mistaken that is the only time he's ever performed with one.
