Help identifying flatwounds

I played some Alleva Coppolo basses at NAMM that were strung up with flats. I really liked those strings because they were nice and thumpy and very even from string to string. A couple of the guys in the booth told me they were DR's, which turned out to be incorrect - I bought a set of DR flats and they were not the same strings! The DR's have a gold colored wrap and were much brighter. These had a royal blue colored wrap - that's the only clue I can offer, but hopefully some flatwound experts out there will know right away what I'm talking about.

LaBellas only have silk on one end chromes have colored balls and silk at both ends.

Royal blue. Almost the exact same color as LaBellas. They purportedly are the same as Fender Flats lately, but Fenders have emerald green silk. At least from what i hear.

Chromes have a midrange metallic Gank and sustain a lot like rounds.

LaBellas have a warmer, thumpier, more fundamental tone. They are also more polished, smoother to the touch. Although most LaBellas are a heavier gauge, they feel more pliable to me, offsetting the perceived tension difference.
