Help Identifying Mystery Epifani 115 Cab

Hi all,

Purchased this mystery Epifani 115 off of Craigslist yesterday. Seller advertised it as a modded UL115. It’s clearly heavily modified and am looking for some clarification if it’s legit and/or a very early model. The driver has been changed to a Faital 15PR400, and tweeter to Eminence APT-80. The backplate has been changed and doesn’t offer any info on specs/serial number.

Comparing inconsistencies against my early T-UL212:

1) large grill holes (even bigger than UL Series II holes)

2) only 6 screws on side handles rather than 10

3) 4 rubber bumpers next to speaker rather than felt/foam. Possibly added afterwards?

4) weight feels heavier than UL box might be.. haven’t weighed it yet. Possible early NYC box?

The cab FEELS like solid Epifani quality and sounds incredible. I have already emailed Nick with these same questions and pictures - figured TB should have a shot at it too!

Even if it isn’t legit Epifani, it still sounds great and doesn’t break my back transporting it - win win! Thanks all.
