Help identifying red bass

My friend sent me this photo, and I figured I'd ask the pantheon. So what do you guys think?

Clues so far:

• Is Red
• Is Bass
• Has Knobs

Oh people who know more than I do, lend me your wisdom!

Makes me think of Cort.

Looks like there is a signature on the head stock. Maybe an artist model?

It's a Cort Curbow.

Curbow is a custom bass maker. They contracted with Cort to release an affordable version of one if their popular designs. It's a lot of bass for the money. Many upgrade the electronics and still don't have a ton invested in them.

Edit: There is a small chance it is the real deal Curbow. Some more pics could clear that up. But that was a stock color of the Cort version. I'm pretty sure it is the Cort.
