I'm struggling to identify a set of old flats on a bass I've recently bought.

Flats; red silk at the windings; no silk at balls; relatively high tension (but not as much so as La Bella FS/FM); very bright D and G for a flat (very musical).

I know they're neither TI nor La Bella FL.

Anyone any idea, please?

Maybe GHS? They use red on a lot of their string brands...

GHS Flats have a purple silk. Rotosound maybe ? Never tried them, but I know they have red silk, are high tension, and sounds bright.
