Help identifying this Spector bass guitar

Hi friends, I just joined after buying my first bass guitar. I got some recommendations from bass playing friends and got the Spector in the photos off my local Craigslist. I'm very new to bass and am just curious what anyone can tell me about this guitar.

Looks like one of the older Legend series basses.
Judging by the stacked pot, I'd say someone swapped the original pre for possibly an EMG BQC preamp.
