I have a Geddy Lee Sig Bass that intermittently makes this static sound. It does not happen with any regularity and it drives me nuts. It happens on multiple amps at my home but I cant seem to get it to reproduce the the noise at other locations. I have taken to a tech who has checked all the grounds, pots and pickup wiring numerous times and he can find nothing. Wondering if anyone here has ever had this issue and can tell me what this is?
