HELP!Jasmine Takamine Bass

Hey, im planning to buy the Jasmine Takamine ES50C for about 150-175 CAD $, is the bass worth the price?Im just gonna use it to jam with mostly one or max two guitarists, has anyone had any experience with this?If yes, can you share??Also, another option would the 100C for CAD $250. Your answers will be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

According to the reviews at Harmony Central, the ES100 got very good feedback, while the ES50, not so much. I'd probably go the extra coin for the ES100. From there it's the EG512, but even more $$. I got mine for around $350.00US off the bay.

Thanks for the replies,i just need the acoustic bass to goof around and jam with prolly 1 or 2 guitars.
Anyone had any experience with this bass??

I have one of the very early Jasmine. (ES100?) I've played a lot of ABG's, including a Tak EG512, Martin, Boulder Creek, Tacoma, etc. I haven't played a bass the plays better and easier than my Jasmine. However!!! I had mine step up to my liking by a very competent luthier. You might want to do that.
Also, it's not a very loud bass. I don't mind since I always use it amplified if I'm not playing alone at home. You might want a very small amp to play with other instruments.
