Need some help.
Years ago I fell in love with a unique Japanese made bass. The interesting tone of the instrument has stuck with me for years and I would like to track it down again.
Problem— for the life of me I can’t remember the name of the manufacturer, just the interesting story of the company.
It was a small manufacturer in Japan that was gaining steam in the early 2000’s until a fire wiped out their shop. They started manufacturing again on a smaller scale and may or may not be in business still.
Their basses had a fairly unique headstock and body shape and they were also known for a circuit that activated their neck and bridge pickup in serial or parallel.
Anyone have a clue what company I’m talking about? I’d love to try and track it down if I could just remember the damn name.
