Help Me Choose A Divorce Bass

So I'm going through a divorce and signed the papers today. It's all good for the most part other than having to move from a four bedroom house to a one bedroom apartment! Good news is that I am not only getting out debt free but getting a settlement from the soon to be ex since she is keeping the house. So since I will have some extra cash in savings and no one to tell me what I can and can't buy I'm going to get a new bass! I'm wanting to stay around or below $1500 and I'm leaning toward something more modern with an active EQ. Here is what I'm looking at so far:

Ibanez SR 1900ENTL Premium. Love the look of this bass and the Nordstrand Big Singles!
Ibanez SR1900ENTL SR Premium - Natural Low Gloss

Spector Legend Neck Thru: It has Aguilar pickups and preamp and I have always been a fan of the Spector body shape.

Carvin/Kiesel Icon: I have wanted one of these for years and like that I can customize it.

Would love to get opinions from those who own or have owned any of these. I'm also open to suggestions for other basses and they don't have to be new.

Sorry you had to go through that, it's a crappy thing to go through, even if you wanted it to end. For my divorce bass I went with an MIA P-bass, but as you already know that's a passive bass. I haven't played any of the other ones you listed, but based on pure sexiness I like the Icon.

Not really. All I said is that I am getting divorced and want to buy a bass. I didn't go in to detail about the cause or settlement terms.

That's true. I always thought that stuff was more of a private matter, but thats just me. I apologize

That is actually just an OLP Ray copy. A real EBMM is on my radar too.

I would get the Carvin. You have always wanted it, so you're going to end up with it anyways. Save yourself some money and just get it now
