I vote A, but you may want to think about extending the upper horn a bit to improve the balance. (like it is on the B)
Choose a if you are used to jazz basses and choose b if precision is you cup of tea.
Do you think balance will be an issue on A?
It would depend on the neck woods and tuners, but it appears to finish behind the 12th fret which is renowned for increasing neck dive issues.
