I've been saving up for a Harley Benton HB-60WB, a vintage-style semi-hollow eerily similar to the Eastwood Classic 4, for a while. It seems like a great bass both tonally and visually - it has that great old-school thump. Recently, however, a new Harley Benton has popped up onto my radar, the JB-40 FL, also from Thomann. It was cast into the limelight when LowEndLobster reviewed it about a week ago, and it seems great as well. The only problem is now I don't know which one to get anymore. I'm a big jazz player and I've been lusting for a thump somewhat reminiscent of an upright... but that Jaco tone is beautiful. Which one should I get?
