Help me decide - Best combo for my needs

I have a Carvin BX500 head, but not the combo. I've used it with various cabs. IMO, the best bang for the buck there is. I love it.
I also have a TC BG250 1x15 and it is the best combo I've ever owned when considering tone, features, power and especially light weight. I agree that I was surprised to see that the 2x10 model is $100 more than the 1x15. Really?
I'd suggest a BX500 head and the the light weight 2x10 cab of your choice.

Found a killer deal on a Markbass CMD102P. Should be here tomorrow. Pysched. It's been a long process....

To close the loop.....thanks all for responding. I found a Markbass for a price that didn't break the bank. It arrived yesterday about 2 hrs before practice. So I unpacked it, put it in my car and headed off to jam. I loaded in with my acoustic bass in one hand, electric in a bag on my shoulder, and the Markbass in the other hand. Awesome!!

All I can say is wow! Using the filters on the amp I dialed in a great tone for the acoustic bass (FYI: Martin > Markbass = great acoustic tone). Then dialed back the filters, turned on my pedals and rocked out with some good old fashioned rock n roll. I had plenty of headroom. Still need to adjust my pedals to the head and make some minor eq changes, but I was able to just set up and jam. All band members loved the tone.

The amp is exactly what I had hoped. It met all of my 'requirements'. AND....I have a 210 Avatar cab I could stack under it and unleash it's full power if I ever want to
