Help me decide on a pickguard.

If the tort was brown instead of red I would say tort. I vote anodized.

100% That tort is a little too “pepperoni” for my taste.

Although Chuck Taylors are black and white and not 2 tone and white.

Mine were usually bought right before school started and were off white (school uniformity thing), kind of the shade that white pick guard will look like in about 10 years..LOL.

The black with white trim shoes were for summer use running through grass. Staining those off white ones would never do. Besides, we might get through another semester or so with the whites shoes bought the year before.

Black or Tort with the rosewood. If it had a maple board, Black or Gold Anodized.

With the two tone, the anodized looks right. As has been said before, if the tort was brown, then it would look good, but vintage red doesn't fit. That tort you have there would go with a 3TS that has ample red in the burst.

Black looks good for a minute until it gets scratches then it detracts. Rapid decent to yuck.

Tort looks good because it hides wear well. A Browner tort would be the nutz.

Anodized for the classic look. As it wears, it looks like a story is held within.

Sorry to go off-list, too, but aged white or parchment is my favorite on sunburst. Followed by tort. But I also cocur with the "rotate 'em!"

With sunburst & rosewood it's gotta be tort! Anodized would be cool with sunburst & maple.
Definitely not black - can't think of any color that would look best with black - maybe butterscotch/blonde, but that's more or a Telecaster thing, and even there I would prefer white...
