Walnut. I absolutely love the look of Walnut! ...and the taste of walnuts, but that's another matter entirely!

I mean, do they offer everything you want? Spacing, neck, etc? Then go for it! If not... CUSTOM TIME! :D
 
Well, I've played Carvins for years.For the money spent,I don't think you could "touch" their quality for a USA made bass. Their custumer service is second to none.I think your wait time is only about 6 weeks.Both that you mentioned are BEAUTIFUL guitars. One thing about Carvin is you skip the middle-man,and they keep their prices quite affordable. Just my 2 cents worth.

totally agree carvin quality is top notch.my carvin bass&combo amp I've had since the mid 90's.I use the combo by itself &use it as a head to power my peavey1514 cab I put new carvin speakers in.alot of bang for your buck.if you do order from them,call,had a problem with them with online order.
