Cutoff frequency absolutely applies to a speaker.Not sure how filter cutoff frequency relates to the speaker. I thought it was more relevant to the box tuning and excursion limited power handlIng v power applied.

Any ideas on testing?
The only ideas I have for testing are the obvious: borrow or rent cabs for comparison, or try to get somebody to make an IR. And the IR idea involves somebody willing to do that out of sheer curiosity, in a studio that's close enough to your home for it to be practical to move the cab.So the cab is doing some interesting things, none of them bad, but some quite strange.

It sounds terrific to me, but I am surely quite biased in this matter.
