Help me ID/value this Spector bass.

Picked up this Spector bass. Not really sure what it is or what its worth. Im probably going to sell or trade it but I don't have a clue what to advertise it as or how much to ask.

It looks to be a performer to me, but Ive never seen a blue one on eBay and it also doesn't say "performer" on the headstock like the others. It seems like a nice bass, it has EMG's which I think all spectors do, Im not sure. Im not a Spector guy.

It has a few nicks/dents in it. Definitely not a beater, Id say its in good-more then good condition. The neck feels pretty good. I can't say excellent, to me excellent is mint condition. This is below that.

Id keep it, but Im not really into this blue. On top of it I already have a Charvel in the same shade of blue, although the Spector is transparent. Would this be an even trade for an old Charvel?

I think that's a made in China Spector,I picked up one just like it,same blue, w/case on Craigs List for $100 and feel like I got a steal! It plays well,the tuners were in bad shape so I replaced them w/Carvins for $35.Something like a NS2002B maybe? I don't really need mine but wouldn't sell it for less than $200-$250

Wow, what kind of case do you have? It just looks clean and seems to fit the bass nice. But yes, that looks to be the exact same bass. Still not sure if its a legend or a performer. Im not really sure if you meant NS2002B as a possibly model? If I sell/trade it, then it won't be that important to me.

Im going to Madison, WI tomorrow and theres a guitar shop there with a 2x10 Music Man cab. I have an HD150 MM amp and a 115RH cab and the 2x10 would go perfect with it. Im going to try to make a trade. I might have to throw in cash on the deal, but Im OK with that if the cab is in decent shape. I did get a similar deal to yours, + or - 50 bucks of what you paid and I didn't get it cheaper then you... so theres that, hahaha. Well see.

I have been informed by another member that I needed to purchase a membership to start a thread like this. I appreciate you pointing out that I broke a rule, maybe next time you will elaborate and inform the person instead of just telling someone to read the rules. People make mistakes as I did by missing it in the rules, and it is ok to guide them in the right direction. Anyways, again, thanks for bringing it to my attention, I have since corrected my mistake like I said I would, and I encourage you to also become a supporting member!

Mine I believe(and possibly yours) predates the legend and performer models.I found a Spector history site a while ago and it shows one just like ours as a NS2002B.The case is a soft/foam Roadrunner,less than $100 new.Personally I think it's a good deal even for $200 comparing it to other craigs list basses,mine plays as well as my more expensive basses.I got a really good price because the tuners were in bad shape.
If the MM2X10" is in good shape,the correct ohms and what you're looking for then that sounds like a good deal,I don't know that I'd throw in more than $25-50 but it's all about what you want! Good luck!!
