Help me Identify these strings, please!

Hi Folks,

I recently bought a Yamaha TRB 1006 six-string (I'm in Love). Luckily the action out of the box seems quite good.

I'd like to be able to get some strings exactly the same as the ones that it came with. This shouldn't be too hard as the they have coloured ball-end as follows:-
High C = Bronze
G = Green
D = Black
A = Red
E = Gold
B = Purple

They don't have silks and I think they might be coated but I'm not sure.

If anyone knows the make and gauges Please let me know.

if im not wrong the colored ends means that their D'Addario Bass Guitar Strings unless other companies use colored ends, i have no idea on the gauge though

Most definatly D'adds, no idea as to how to determine the gauges, unless you break out a caliper or a mike

I was kinda hoping that each colur would tie in with a particular gauge.

I'll try emailing D'addario - thay may be able to help. I've tried Yamaha but I'm still waiting for a reply.

get a set of calipers from the hardware store .. you can measure the gagues with those!
