Help me Identify this Charvel Bass

I just recently acquired this Bass and would like to know a bit about it. It is a Charvel Bass with the toothpaste logo. The neck plate says made in Japan has the original Charvel Logo on it and has Po Box Fort worth texas
Has 2 knobs on it with a toggle switch between the 2 knobs. I would like to know the year and model

I believe that it's model 2B, mid-to-late 80s.

Is this a good bass? What was the price range on this bass?

Charvel stuff of this era is well made but doesn't get a lot of love on the used market, especially the basses.

Yeah the Japan stuff is great. They are well built instruments.

"Pointy" basses just aren't "in" right now. (Meaning basses with a sharp point at the end of the head very popular in the 80s.)

So, the resale isn't great. But the instrument is. If it were me, I would play the crap out of it.

In 89' probably $350-$450
