Help me identify this mystery HSC

A musician buddy of mine was gifted this case....certainly looks older and well used. What the heck is it though? Spent 10 minutes browsing interwebby images....to no avail. Anyone have any ideas / insight / info on what this might be / who made it / etc? Thanks in advance.

Hard to tell, but the inside reminds me of the original case that came with my 83 Ibanez Roadstar II 6 string.

Yes I'd agree with EvilJ, it's an old Ibanez 80s/90s shaped case.

100% an early 80s Ibanez case, either for a musician or roadstar bass

Looks a lot like the Ibanez case I just got with the 86 RB850, but a different color and sans-logo.

Marshes of Glenny was an Orange County punk band around 1985-86.

Yep. Definitely Ibanez. I have an identical one purchased as a case only in 1985. I think it was nearly new then.

Thanks so much folks!! I le the guy know....mystery solved!

In the end it's kinda crazy---- I had an Ibanez Roadster back in the 80's....but for the life of me can not recall what the case looked like. I'm pretty sure it was not a rectangular case....but this shape here is not ringing any bells either.
