Help me identify this Yamaha please!

so i just traded my p bass for this beautiful Yamaha 5 string bass, but i'm unsure what model it is and what its worth. this is the only pic i could snap before my battery died. she has a matching quilted headstock and gold hardware.

It's the BB series that has a lithographed grain to the "wood," but these axes play nicely. Yamaha quality control kicks major booty! I have not played this series, but having played other BB axes over the years, I'm confident that you came out ahead in trading a Mexican Fender for this axe. Enjoy!
 
yikes! $180!! i've seen a couple last night during my search for info going for between $300-$425 for 5ers. i'm feeling good about the trade, but still not sure how long this thing will hang around. i stumbled upon the brubaker brute and fell in love with the style!! this damn gas is killing me!!!! Lol

Have you played the Brute? I wouldn't make any decisions without trying first. It's easy to make decisions based on aesthetics only to be disappointed later on...
