I get why you say that. I think he's going for a play on Sunny Delight, though they changed the name to Sunny D, so maybe you're right about dropping "Lite"

Oh I got the reference, sir! I grew up on Sunny D! Them shortening it to Sunny D is also partially why I suggested dropping "Lite."

I realize this sounds like a compressor, but I like 'freshly squeezed' for the orange clone.

And maybe something like 'high tide' or 'water hammer' (water hammers cause vibration in pipes) for the tremolo.

Nothing else I have do I construe as an improvement on other suggestions

I also agree with others that using sushi names and Japanese food or words would be a cool take on things and relate to your company name.

It's totally up to you but a theme would be cool as long as you can be creative with it and not run out of ones to use. And of course, hopefully no one else is using the name. Google search once you think you have some good names.

I was originally thinking Wasabi would have been good for the TS pedal being green and all.

I wouldn't limit it to food only. It would help if you knew someone Japanese that could help with some cool word use or translations. Just a thought.

I already posted this on facebook, but the folks of TalkBass have been really cool to me so I thought I would ask:

For those that don't know me (I'm not famous, but bassists seem to know me better than guitarists lately) I'm a small-scale pedal builder working out of my garage. I do it 100% for fun, it is not how I make my living as I have a solid day job. Anyway, I have a bunch of new designs I'm waiting on boards for, and I could use some help naming them. I have working titles for all of them, but I don't love the names I came up with. I posted this on Facebook as a contest, so it would only be fair to offer the same prizes here, anyone that gives a name that Iend up using will get a laser engraved plaque that says "I NAMED A SUSHI BOX PEDAL, BOW BEFORE MY GREATNESS" with your name, the pedal's name, and the Sushi Box logo.

These are all very clever!! Hard to know if they are taken - do several searches before you commit.
Every year at NAMM there are kajillions of pedal, all with cute names - it never fails to astound me, and makes me think of how hard it must be to keep coming up with them! I think there are several pages of pedals in the Sweetwater catalog.
