Clear, clean, punchy and beautiful to my ear. All the low end and the same upper end as the GS112's (same driver and tweeter), with just a touch more even response in the mids to my ear due to a tweak to the tuning, cab size, and cab material (heavier, denser wood as described by Aguilar).

BIG recommendation for the Accugroove Tri-112L from me. 35 pounds, loud and crystal clear. Adding another 112 would be really cool, but I've had success with the Tri-112L and a Tri-115L. Massive. (sound wise, of course. Extremely light weight physically.)

Sounds good :) They're the leaders to me so far, partly because the boss tweed finish is so beautiful.

If you're still considering the Dr. Bass 1260, I know that there is a new 1260V with the 17.5" depth available at Dr. Bass right now. You could pick your 12" driver and tweeter of choice and there would be no build or wait time. I had Marc Serio build me a pair of these cabs and they turned out great. I returned them to Marc because honestly, they were a little too large for my tastes. They sounded fantastic (very clean, clear, punchy as can be). I've owned several Dr. Bass cabs in the past and these were as good as any he's built for me before, but they were just a little too bulky for my 'ol lower back.

Just something to think about if a Dr. Bass 1260 is still in the running.

+1 on the GS112 Aggie!!! & 2 even better. Lovely sound! BUT I recently got a Bergantino AE112 & -seriously- it Kicks the GS112's butt. SO FAR anyway. real test will come this weekend, when I use it in our Jazz band. I use it w/ a LMII / use a EUB & elec.bass,- & w/ the GS112 I got/get a great clear REAL sound. Gonna try the AE112 this Sunday in the same situation. Will report back with my results!

I've got an RX112 that is the same size and tuning as the DRB112. Mine has the Selenium 12W10P-ND neo and a Selenium ST350 tweeter so it's a little different than the DRB with the Eminence OEM Deltalite 2512 II.

My cab gets loud enough to rehearse with my band at pretty loud volumes. I use a LMII and at 8 ohms the cab can get around 300 watts if needed. My gain is at 1 oclock and the master at 2 oclock with the EQ flat and little or no VLE and no VLE to keep up with my guitar players 410 and 112 Fender Devilles at practice.They play at about the same level as we do at gigs and the little 112 keeps up. I would not use this cab by itself at any of our gigs however as I do think I am pushing it towards the edge at this volume with the LMII cranked like this. The cab this replaced was an RX115 with a Kappalite 3015 and I didn't need to crank the LMII past 11oclock on the master with it to keep up.The RX115 would be a better stand alone cab at least for my band.

Tone wise it's very clear and tight.The low end is more about staying controlled at loud volumes than being huge and pillowy like the GS112 I had or my Avatar 112s with Delta LF ceramic magnet speakers. The low end is still very full and the mids are fine with me, better than the Avatar or the GS112. I did have a LDS 112 with a 12" and a 6" mid driver that was very well balanced but I like the Dr Bass RX112 about as well. The only negative I would say the DR Bass cabs is the wait time. If I were to pick from your list I would get the Dr Bass 1260 for sure if not for the wait. Way better basic design than all the two way cabs like mine and I like mine quite a bit.

Neox112s are tight and precise .. at least i think so..
Db112s are nice too.. I had GS112s for many many years and loved them.. they are a little bloated in the bottom end compared to the DB and other cabs...though they still sound very nice too.. To me the DB112s dont seem to have the same large bottom that the GS has..


but if you want tight and burpy and even from top to bottom the Neox112 by Genz Benz may be what you would like. .and they are light too.. they put out some deep lows too as you back up from the cabinet... The Genz Benz Neox112 goes very loud for a single 12 box... and i have done gigs with just one.. that cab punches like the others dont....

The only Berg that i played were the older 1x12s.. I thought they sounded very good but they did not have the deep lows that i became used to with the GS112..
I have a Bagend 1x12 which to me is light in the lows as the BERG is but very smooth and growly.. a pair of bagend 1x12 is pretty beefy punchy pair.

I've played through the Genz-Benz's mentioned above, the Schroeder, and the Aguilars (no experience with Dr Bass). I can honestly say that the Bergantino HT112 and AE112 bury all of the above. No contest.

Ever since I got rid of my pair of GS112's, I've been looking for something similarly small, but not lacking in oomph. Out of what I've been able to test so far, the Bergantino's are the only ones that can really do the job (IMO, of course).

I've got an Avatar SB112 and another on the way. I have found no issues with the cabs sound or build quality wise. They may not be the "cream of the crop" but they look good, sound good, and cost half of the options you mentioned before. In a live setting I doubt you'd be able to tell a difference tone wise (assuming there is one). For what I do (playing bars) and my budget they are perfect, plus I think they sound great, and I do have some nice gear so it's not like I just buy whats cheapest.
