Help me pick a new drive / preamp.

I would like to add, if you're experiencing low end loss with the Nobels check that you don't have one of the bass cut models with the internal switch engaged. I use the Nobels on a down tuned 5 string and it has no issues with the below 30hz I can put out.

I believe OP is using a Noble pre-amp, not a Nobels drive pedal. But I agree it's a great circuit for bass; the Belle I was bigging up on the last page is modelled off the Nobels ODR-1 :)
