Help me pick a pickguard

I'm thinking aged pearloid, but would like your input. Here is the body it will go on.

Tortoise with rosewood. Black with maple.

Pearloid with maple, or tortoise with rosewood. "Aged pearloid" ? I like the very idea of it.

At face value it looks like you got a great deal. As to the choice of pickguard, I think a maple wood guard would look great, particularly with a rosewood fretboard.

That seller had some very interesting bodies for sale. No name but cool Aerodyne mimic designs in several colors. Wondering what the story is on these.

This will be the third body from that seller. I have two of the bound bodies (black/blue.) Sounds pretty good with the stock pickups. I wish I knew the back story on those, there is another seller on ebay with the same bound bodies.
