Help me pronounce Maruszczyk

My guess is 'maroosh-chick', more or less.

m = m
a ... I don't think that sound exists in English. An 'a' in English is a phonetical æ, but in some Slavic and some Germanic languages an 'a' has got a slightly different sound.

cz ~ tsh, like the 'ch' in the English word 'check'
y like the y in daddy

My choice of woods, color, finish, electrionics and hardware. I had him chamber the body. It weighs 7.8 lbs. I received it in December. It cost me less than a new Fender Am Std Jazz and it's FAR superior. Adrian was very easy to deal with. Did it all via email and wound up wiring a deposit and then final payment when it was finished. It's the best bass I've ever owned. It plays like butter and it sounds incredible. I would absolutely order from him again in the future. If you want it, get it. You won't be disappointed.

That's a fine looking bass. I would love a light weight, balanced headless bass with no dead spots and a variety of tones. I ask for a lot.

Thanks. It plays as good as it looks. He will build whatever you want. I was hesitant at first because of the fact that I never played one before. But seeing his work posted on FB had me thinking that it's obvious he takes great pride in what he does. His slogan is "from player to player". He's a player too, and a very good one at that. He wouldn't sell a bass that he wouldn't play himself. I took the chance and I'm very glad I did. Send him an email and tell him what you're looking for. He gets right back to you and he'll give you a price. Good luck.

They do make a good looking bass. Girlfriend says to quit looking at that.

I love them and I'm glad someone will take the upper horn past the 12th fret. I had a cheap headless bass years ago and for the life of me cant remember what brand it was. It was very BC Rich like with 2 rear facing horns besides the two forward. P&J pickups, passive electronics, white with a rosewood board. It was a neck through body and cost about $250.00.

Two things about that post: 1st, that bass is F'IN GORGEOUSSSSS, 2nd, I love the painting of that lady offering her infant as a sacrifice to the luthier who's going to behead the kid with the hatchet. Is that her downpayment for a custom bass too, back in the old days?

Great looking basses, unmarketable company name. If an actor were named Maruszczyk, he would probably change it.

I'd probably do the same with my bass company, were my name difficult to say, and even more importantly, difficult to spell.
