Help me replace my HD500X with smaller Amp Sim

There are more cool pedals/processors out there now than I can keep up with. I run IEM's, direct, and have been using my POD HD500X very happily as my "amp". I still like the sounds, but I'm using my pedal board as well, and it's just a lot of space. Anything that can replace this unit, holding to these preferences?

  • Needs an XLR direct out (i don't want to deal with a 1/4" and separate direct box)
  • Models of classic GK and Ampeg amps, more is great, but I use those two all the time.
  • Smaller footprint to possibly fit on a large board, or be able to fit in a gig-bag pocket.
An HX stomp is perfect, or even a Pod Go, but the lack of Direct out drives me nuts. I know it seems like no big deal, but that's a hill I'll likely die on. The Fractal FM3 is very intriguing to me, but if there is a stomp box that can do this, i'm all ears.
