What kind of effects is he using?

I cut the midtones on my thunderbird, but i cant get tjis sound right..

(guitar rig 3, and ampeg SVX on my mac)

So wich setup i have to use??

please help me!!!

No effects, just boost your mids.

It sounds like a clean Ric into an SVT to me.

…It goes heavy on the bottom, I take out the middle and it's heavy on the top. On a graphic EQ the shape is like a chevron…..I think that when you take out a lot of the mid tones, it sounds better.
….live, I use what I always have : Boss MT-2 Distortion, DD-3 Digital Delay, BF-2 Flanger, CE-5 Chorus Ensemble and NS-2 Noise Suppressor. ….There are more improved things around, but I know how to use these.
I must admit I‘ve never studied different speakers or things like that. I just tend to plug into whatever is there and mess around until I get something that I like….it does go down to that original punk rock thing of not really caring what you play through"

To clarify what I meant to say: it sounds like a ric on that song, and the nature of the ric tone is a "middy" sound. If using a T-bird, I'd add some mids on the amp.
